We will start the tour with a visit to Avantis winery.
In this awesome winery you will taste 4 of the best wines that Avantis family produces, along with very tasty local traditional products such us cheese, cold cuts, eggplant salad, the famous greek fava and more.
Avantis family created a unique farmhouse that was build in 1936, following the traditional style of lilantioum houses. The grapes were delivered and stamped out at the groundfloor.
The must flowed down into the basement tanks where fermentation took place. Now these historical spots are place for tasting our wines. Now these historical spots are place for tasting our wines. The winery is attached to the old farmhouse.
After Avantis winery we will visit Argyros winery. Argyros winery is also known as Estate Argyros.
Estate Argyros established in 1903, it has remarkable facilities, it’s the most modern winery in the island and owns vines that are over 200 years old and is located in Episkopi.
In this winery you will taste a selection of 6 vintage wines. One of the wines that your will taste is the one and only Vinsanto that Argyros family produces for many years.
All the wines will be paired with local tapas – fine Greek cheese and bread sticks.
Also you will learn from the experts some secrets of the local grapes and also the story of Estate Argyros.
Our next stop is Profitis Ilias Mountain. A magnificent area from where your can get amazing panoramic photos. Make sure that you will bring your camera.
Before our final stop in Oia we will make a stop at the picturesque village Imerovigli.
Imerovigli is one of the best view spots of the island. From this beautiful “balconie” you can get great pictures of the Caldera.
We will visit a “secret spot”with breathtaking view.
Also Imerovigli has a lot of traditional houses and is one of the recognized traditional settlements.
Another highlight of Imerovigli is Skaros rock and the remains of the 13th-century castle.
Final stop the unique Oia Village.
Here you will have free time of aproximately one hour and you will have the chance to see one of the unique Oia Sunsets.
You will have a great experience, also you will have the opportunity to create unique memories and get great photos.
You can choose either to relax in one of the cafe’s, enjoy a drink or to walk and discover some of Oia Village secrets.
